Happy Birthday! It's 123 years since the Admiralty approved the formation of the Royal Marines Artillery Cadet Corps at Eastney. Joined by the Royal Naval Cadet Corps in 1904 to later become Volunteer Cadet Corps.
This week, @ComdVCC retires after 42 years exemplary service to Volunteer Cadet Corps. Holding nearly every position within the VCC, including Company Commander, Training Officer, Chief Instructor, Adjutant and latterly Commander VCC, we are sad to see Col Spratt leaving us. Read more ⤵️
Last weekend on Dartmoor I was pleased to catch up with the CO of Lympstone Division RMVCC to promote him to WO1 (VCC). Paul has led the unit for over 5 years and has successfully faced a series of significant challenges, all with his trademark positivity and enthusiasm. Thanks and BZ.
