The Career Exploration class had a special guest, Mr. Eric Wesel, Civil Engineer for Will County Department of Transportation. He gave great insights to the opportunities in this career and he is a graduate of Lincoln-Way Central.

Our amazing English teachers, Mrs Nakamura and Mrs. Zolk, went full Puritan today, donning bonnets, cloaks, and even a few dramatic scarlet A’s to bring Nathaniel Hawthorne’s classic to the classroom.

The Career Exploration class at East is learning about effective communication in the workplace. Playing games significantly improves communication skills by creating safe, interactive environments to practice listening, summarizing, clarifying directions, & expressing ideas.

In Intro to Criminal Justice classes the Big Bad Wolf is on trial for killing and eating pigs. Today the widows, (seniors) Lucy Cosgrove, Sophia Campos, and Cassidy Jagielski took the stand in 3rd hour.

The Career Exploration class hosted Adam Borrelli (Trustee) and Alaina Hannon (Planner) from the Village of Frankfort. Elected officials focus on policymaking while hired officials, oversee the city's daily operations. It was fascinating to see what goes on behind the scenes!

The Lincoln-Way East Boys Tennis team and computer club helped load 42,000 pounds of potatoes to food pantries in the Chicagoland area.

LW District Career & Tech Dept hosted the annual Career Fair at Lincoln-Way Central. Over 40 employers and career paths came to showcase opportunities to over 700 LW students from the 3 campuses. Lincoln-Way students have a bright future!
