Ambulance 849B is back from Excellance Ambulance of Madison Alabama. Originally a 2014 Freightliner M2/ Excellance EHD has had the Excellance Module totally Refurbished Inside and Out. Ambulance 849B now a 2026 Freightliner M2

Engine 849 and Ambulance 849C responded to the 500 BLK of Main Street for a propane tank explosion. Fire has been extinguished. 1 adult transported to local burn center

On Saturday 5 July Rescue Squad 849 was dispatched for the crash at Gorman and Route 1. No extrication was required, but 4 trauma transports were required - 2 to Children’s and 2 to MedStar. The squad remained on scene to assist evaluation of all patients.

The Saturday Day Crew conducted an engaging and comprehensive EMS Training session focused on Spinal Immobilization techniques. Participants gained hands-on experience using a variety of equipment, including 9-foot “Old Fashion” Straps, Quick Clip Straps, and Velcro Spider Straps

On Saturday July 19th, The Water Rescue Team took the time mastering the Hummingbird system and perfecting our boat operation skills. Through teamwork and rigorous practice, we stand ready to ensure safety and respond swiftly when every second counts.
