A few things I’ve learned from my first week with UTSW Surgery Residents 1) teamwork makes the dream work 2) if you’re not 100000% sure, ask a senior 3) have more confidence in yourself, doctor 4) read something productive daily 5) this is a marathon, not a sprint 6) have fun be safe

It’s pretty amazing to be at a program that emphasizes practical skill labs and shows us innovative solutions to classic problems. Cholangioscopy and stone retrieval is pretty neat. Clearly this picture shows that teamwork makes the dream work UTSW Surgery Residents

A genuine role model
