hi guys. i’d like to bring awareness to something eric said on fromm. i think it is completely unfair both to him & to the queer members of this fandom to leave it out of translations of his fromm messages. i understand wanting to avoid hate; god knows tbz need a break from that.

but i’m not willing to throw trans women under the bus for that. these are the messages eric sent. to explain briefly to others who may not know, the character eric is referring to is a trans woman. he correctly genders her at first, then switches to calling her a man.

i just saw what happened and i think eric is just ignorant. i hope he addresses the issue and apologizes to the person he misgendered

not my place to accept the apology but i'm glad to see eric spoken abt the issue, apologize to the community he hurt, and educated himself. hopefully, the same mistake won't be repeated again in the future

although eric posted an apology already, reminder that you don’t have the right to invalidate the people (especially trans ppl) who are affected by the issue or get mad at others if they didn’t accept or not yet ready to accept his apology
