Thank you so much for your continued excellent papers and thought-provoking insights. Your system leadership is instrumental in ensuring that education is no longer a political football, swaying back and forth. Your contributions are extremely highly valued and appreciated. 👏🙌

Love this Jon. I feel so privileged to have seen the Whipton journey over these last 6 years. One of the most disadvantaged primaries in the region (50.2% FSM6) walking the talk of understanding it's context but never letting it be an excuse for lowering expectations. 🙌

If we neglect: a) excellent teaching & learning within a high quality curriculum b) enrichment: social inclusion & broad vistas c) a personal development curriculum: confidence & agency d) wellbeing: physical & mental health Our disadvantage strategies are doomed to difficulty.

As we all struggle to access the Data checking exercise today, there has also been an update to IDSR. For anyone wishing to capture their schools new EN & MA 4+ & 5+ percentile ranks for 2023 data, grab then now before they are updated with 2024 data before the end of the month.

*New post!* Choral response & 'I Say You Say' are two techniques I use with high frequency during my explanations. Although they seem simple, there is a lot of thinking behind them. bunsenblue.wordpress.com/2025/02/08/cho…
