Just because “it’s always been that way.” Doesn’t mean it has to stay that way. You can change.

Don't make it hard. Open the Bible. Ask Holy Spirit to speak. Take notice of what grabs you. Read small passage repeatedly for a week. Simplicity is powerful. Bonus points for meeting with another person once a week to share what you both received from the same passage.

Best way to hear God? Read the Bible. Best way to "learn" to hear God? Read the Bible.

The Bible is not the goal. Jesus is the goal. The Bible is the roadmap to Him.

You read the Bible but don't understand? Read it anyway. Everyday without fail. The Bible is "divine". When you have something divine going into you daily, you will change, even if you don't fully understand what you are reading.

When you read the Bible. Approach with humility. As a student at the feet of the Master. Be teachable. You never graduate.

Time alone with Jesus. Is never wasted time.

Salvation is Jesus knowing you. Intimacy is you knowing Jesus. You determine your level of intimacy with Jesus. If you draw close to Him, He will draw close to you.

Stop letting YouTube, TikTok, and Snapchat disciple your children. Parents should have the greatest impact when it comes to influencing their children for Christ.

Love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.

Jesus is not a "tool" to build your platform. Jesus is Lord.

We can hear God. This is what sets Christianity apart. God speaks and we can hear Him. What an awesome truth.

- I don't have the time. - I don't have the money. - I don't have the preparation. - I don't have the resources. - I don't have the education. - I don't have the partners. You give God your "yes." And He will give you what's needed. You move by faith. Then He will move.

Jesus wants to sanctify your spirit, soul, and body. He wants all of you to look like all of Him.

Jesus wants you healthy. All of you. Spirit, Soul, and Body.

Sunday we will celebrate Jesus being alive! His resurrection from the grave. But Jesus is alive today! I know because we spoke this morning.

Jesus is still alive.
