It will never cease to amaze me how we never can afford to pay our teachers more or to give people better healthcare or house everybody but somehow we can do shit like this and we never ask how we’re going to pay for it

So businesses raised their prices to offset the tariffs, we the consumers paid those higher prices, and now those same businesses can get reimbursed from the government for tariffs we already covered for them by paying higher prices?? And *they* get a refund and we don’t??

With a record of 332 million visitors last year, Americans clearly care about their parks and expect them to be funded.
We cannot have sustainable energy because it threatens the oil industry. We cannot have healthcare because it threatens insurance. We cannot have peace because it threatens the weapons industry. Capitalism built a system where doing the right thing is treated like bad business.
