New piece tonight! Mindblowing keyboard virtuoso DĂłnal McCann is playing a few of my new 'Queneau Ătudes' for harpsichord alongside the final of Bach's French Suites and some other lovely works at the Chapel of Pre-Uni New College, Oxford at 9pm.

One of the little ĂŠtudes I wrote for DĂłnal McCann last month. More to come! soundcloud.com/luke_lewis/queâŚ. Lots more about the piece here luke-lewis.com/music/queneaueâŚ

Delighted and ever so grateful to receive funding from Vaughan Williams Foundation for a new piece for Ensemble Renard!

Delighted to be bringing Steve Martland's amazing music to Oxford. Tuesday 27th, 8pm at Tap Social Brewery, Oxford. Some of Martland's key works and two new ones by myself and Adam Possener. It's free as well!

Composer Steve Martland's mission was to engage with people outside the classical concert hall. Music Lecturer Luke Lewis, Adam Possener & Komuna Collective join forces on Tuesday at Tap Social Movement to present Martland's boundary-crossing compositions music.ox.ac.uk/event/steve-maâŚ

Chuffed to share photos from âSteve Martland Hits the Club #1â gig a couple of weeks ago. We had the Komuna Collective perform Martlandâs quartet âPatrolâ and two new pieces by myself and Adam Possener, then the epic âDanceworksâ for ensemble at Tap Social Movement The Cultural Programme

Very lucky to be working with @GBSRduo this summer!! Come and hear my new piece alongside a super new work with the duo and Heath Quartet by my old teacher joe duddell too!

Come along to the The Bullingdon in Oxford tomorrow at 7.30. Performing Steve Martlandâs Danceworks (the masterpiece of British post-minimalist music?) and recent works by me and Adam Possener for string quartet and electronics for the Komuna Collective. Supported also by Vaughan Williams Foundation

There are two opportunities to hear Luke Lewis @3choirs commission in the next few days - read more about the piece and the concerts đ music.ox.ac.uk/article/dr-lukâŚ

Utterly brilliant concert last night from @GBSRduo with Joseph Havlat and Sam Wilson at Bold Tendencies. Reich, Martland, and Crumb. Their programmes in themselves feel like works of art. So refreshing.

Delighted to be welcoming the incredible composer Lisa Illean to New College, Oxford this week (Thursday 7th Nov at 5pm in Lecture Room 6) to talk about her recent music. All are welcome to attend and after talk and Q&A weâll head to college bar for more informal chats.
