what's crazy to me is that novel fans always go ballistic when adaptations change things from the novel but marvel movies always get away with altering shit that's much more damaging than any change in a novel adaptation, and mcu fans just accept it bc they don't read comics.

Every comic book movie would he infinitely better if they respected the source material. No one wants EXACT adaptations but we want characters to act like the characters they are in the comics and you never have to change the core of them for your adaptation. It's an excuse

I think part of the reason Tim Drake has become so hated nowadays is the impact of his adaptations. He’s the only Robin whose origin has never been adapted before and nearly every adaptation of him removes what made him interesting and unique from Dick and Jason.

Another reason this casting sucks - an integral part of Victor's character is that he wears the mask at all times and refuses to show his face, but there's no way in hell they're not showing RDJ's face considering the amount of zeroes that are undoubtedly on that paycheck.
