Norway to London Day #1 39.02km After not getting to Nordkapp until 2:30 a.m. and finally falling asleep about an hour later, I knew it was going to be a late start. Got the job done and we go again tomorrow 🫡

Norway to London Day #2 46.22km Woke up this morning feeling good until the big man upstairs decided to throw every different type of weather condition at me. Powered through and everyone is extremely happy and willing to help, from waving as they drive past😄

Norway to London Day #3 49.92km Everything is cold, wet and windy, and now my hip hurts… why didn’t I do this gig from Italy or somewhere hot? Day started strong in amazing weather, but my body is starting to feel what the mind has signed up for.

Norway to London Day #4 23.62km It’s not as bad as it seems I promise! After the hip and foot issue yesterday I thought I would take it easy as we are already ahead of schedule with all the tunnel dodging we’ve been doing. Although it still wasn’t the smoothest of days 🫡

Norway to London Day #5 46.06km Back on road with no excuses. Slower pace than the previous days but this definitely helped the hip basically completely clear up. The wind was playing mind games, with so much open land I may as well have been running in an F1 wind tunnel uphill

Norway to London Day #6 45.32km Without trying to jinx anything, the weather has finally begun to change! Although the downpours remain consistent daily the wind has slowly began to die down. All was going well, I was speeding downhill faster than a prime Theo Walcott

Norway to London Day #7 50.08km One week in and we’re still alive! Day started off great and for 15km I even managed to run in shorts and a t shirt rather than 20 layers. Nothing stays consistent though, so after 30km the rain decides to play games

Norway to London Day #8 50.06km Absolutely breezed through the first 20km, pushing sub 6 min/kms and then the real fun began. The issue with my foot flared up again but after putting a small bandage over the vein it kept it from kicking off again- so I dragged myself through

Norway to London Day #9 50.02km Mission Get To The Border complete 🫡 Today has just been one extremely long road (literally) but with help from a lot of tailwind we’ve finally ticked off country 1 of 9. Time for a nice hot shower, some choccy milk and get ready to go again

Norway to London Day #10 50.51km Another day another 50km, I’m hop, skipping and a jumping🏃 But in all honesty, where have all the people gone? Norway had me bobbing and weaving cars and cyclists all day, but now there is just me and the slightly more flat road.

Norway to London Day #11 50.17km To some today up it’s definitely been a rollercoaster of emotions, I was slightly hesitant this morning about seeing how the IT band would hold up because that’s always been an issue for me. Actually it held up pretty well!

Norway to London Day #12 50.20km Started strong, dipped in the middle brought it back in the end. After long gruelling roads we finally made it back to civilisation with paths to run on instead- the little wins at this point. All was going well until 28km but problem solved🫡

Norway to London Day #13 50.03km Another day, another 50km and another country conquered🫡 Passed into Sweden this afternoon ready to take on the longest stretch in one country of the mission. Finland didn’t let me leave easily though, the hills continued to come thick and fast!

Norway to London Day #14 50.09km Bit rough today wasn’t it? All was going well until 10km when my hamstring started to speak up and wanted all the attention. Arron sorted me out but had to call lunch early at 25km as I think I had a bit of a head wobble. Go again tomorrow🫡

Norway to London Day #15 50.73km I knew from the moment I started running the pace wasn’t there to get the day wrapped up quickly. Everything was going ok for the first half, I found running slower kept me from overworking my hamstring which was good!

Norway to London Day #16 42.90km With any adventure, it doesn’t always go to plan and this was one of them. I’ve wanted to keep the 50kms constant to hopefully push up to 60kms soon, but today my knee was not having any of it.
