âStop taking it so personal.â Itâs hard not to when youâve spent your life being taught you were responsible for other peoples feelings, emotions and well-being while not having the proper support to establish a sense of self. It wouldnât feel so personal, if it wasnât so costly
When will people realise that Chronically Iâll people cannot predict how they will feel in the next few minutes, hours, days or months. I could wake up feeling fine and then feel like Iâve been hit by a truck within the hour. There are no warning signs. #MyalgicEncephalomyelitis
The goal in healing trauma is not to learn to love those who hurt you. Itâs to learn how to love the parts of you who carried that pain. Itâs to feel safe in your mind & body. Itâs to learn how to live unapologetically & never think of those harmed you again, if you so choose.
When people suggest you should be over your traumatic experiences because âIt was a long time agoâ let them know your brilliant brain & body registered that experience because it changed your survival. And your brilliant brain & body are looking for safety, not uninformed advice.
When a woman is consistently spoken to softly & treated gently, she becomes a new woman. Youâre helping her heal her nervous system, youâre helping her heal generational trauma, youâre allowing her feminine energy to flourish, youâre helping her to remember who she is
