Happy 86th Birthday, Pope Francis!

Just as the earth bears abundant fruit when it is well cultivated and cared for, so it is with us. When we cultivate our spiritual health, when we have a well cultivated relationship with the Lord, we begin to bear very good fruit.

De gruwelijke aanval van Hamas is onaanvaardbaar. Dat geeft Israël geen carte blanche om zelf ook het internationaal humanitair recht te schenden en misdaden te plegen tegen de Palestijnen. Nu nood aan de-escalatie. Een duurzame politieke oplossing is cruciaal.

Veel mensen, vaak jongeren, kampen met hun mentale gezondheid, jammer genoeg. Is het 'de schuld van de samenleving'? Of kan het partieel ook komen door de afwezigheid van elk filosofisch of levensbeschouwelijk kader in West-Europa? Ik stel enkel de vraag en veroordeel niemand.
