This axe has fallen fast and heavy. With such, and if only the criminal justice system would act in concert, to speedily acquit the innocent and condemn the guilty, we would begin slaying the dragon. Thumbs up 👍🏾, bwana Rais.

There's trouble deep within our DNA, good people! New discovery is that "the devil is actually a full-blooded African who originates from the East African country, Kenya." Waluhya, mmetufanyia mabaya jameni! newsyard.net/american-histo…

This, dear friends, is our sad reality. Like the inescapable fates of the tragic heroes of ancient Greek mythology, it seems unshakable. Every turn we take to flee only brings us closer to our fate. Like Sophocles' King Oedipus, we have no room for the wisdom of the blind poet.

We will not succeed in reforming the Police Service until those who do such things are held to account. Without reforming the police & the entire criminal justice system, justice will remain a rumour in this country, especially for the poor and powerless. nation.africa/kenya/counties…

This app has democratized even private handles. You try to lie your way out of a situation, only for readers to "add context they think people might want to know." Yaani they stamp the word LIE all over your post!!!

x.com/AtwoliiYa/stat… This is so wrong; evil, criminal and unacceptable. We will not succeed in nurturing a just society anchored on the rule of law, until such criminals in police uniform are made to pay for their actions.

The quality of life for citizens depends on the quality of governance, which depends on the quality of leadership, which in turn depends on the quality of citizens in their voting and civic engagement. Says Cyprian Nyamwamu . We must re-engineer the republic from the grassroots.

Tonight, my heart really goes out to the families who lost kids in the school fire tragedy. This thing is extremely heartbreaking. And to hear they may have to wait for weeks for the DNA processing so as to identify their remains sounds insane. May the good Lord abide with them.

Because of the HUGE CREDIBILITY/TRUST DEFICIT President William Ruto's government suffers from, many viable projects that can be financed through a TRANSPARENT and VERIFIABLE PPP process will not see the light of the day. WHY? Because the people of Kenya simply don't trust their

While the corruption and lawlessness exhibited by the ruling class is worrying, my greatest concern is the influence of this in the socialisation and formation of the citizenry. If we don't turn the tide on the malformation that is happening, there will be no hope for the nation.

These people have destroyed our country. The 1st time I saw CS Machogu dish out teacher recruitment letters at a funeral, I was horrified but thought it was a one-off lapse. Now it's the norm. They're shamelessly shredding every last bit of sanity that remains in our nation.

It's regrettable that Chebukati has died without publishing his account of events on & around 7/08/2022. Even if we'd not all agree with his version, it was worth telling. For a few days, he carried the nation on his back. I hope it's not what broke him. Rest well, man Chebu.

I have never understood this practice in Kenya of asking courts to stop one from being investigated and/or prosecuted. Asking to be protected from arrest, harassment or detention is understandable. But this?? What does it seek to accomplish, and does it happen anywhere else?

So, apparently the ringleader here is a police officer. Let the National Police Service-Kenya know that Kenyans are watching. These guys belong to jail, starting with the ringleader, and for long. This is sickening. It cannot be tolerated. And people just stood by and watched!!
