Major General Sir William Ponsonby. His sword was terrible, more like a club, so that had to be replaced. Other than that, it's a good miniature. I like his coat lining, though it might need lightening a touch.

His Grace, The Duke.

General of Division Edouard Jean Baptiste Milhaud, IV Cavalry Corps. Considered one of the best Cavalry Generals of the war...... and probably the snappiest dresser. A wild ride painting him.

Some advice please. Colonel Heymes. Should the horses bridle be red, as it appears in Louis Dumoulin's panorama? Is his cummerbund blue and yellow or red and yellow. Also, what uniform is this? One of those models where the rider is moulded to the horse. Pain in the arse.

Colonel Pierre-Agathe Heymes. An Ade on Ney's staff, he is attributed with saying "For want of a nail, the battle was lost."

ADC Levavasseur.

Ney, Heymes and Levavasseur. A lovely set from Perry Miniatures based on the panorama by Louis Dumoulin.

Working on finding the best camera settings. I rarely use my phone because I think it's crap. This is with a Canon EOS 2000D. A reasonable entry level camera. Miniatures are Perry.

Sinbad. Loved the movies when I was a lad, so he came to mind when I was thinking of an iconic figure to portray.

Remember these? A nostalgic trip back to the late 70's, early 80's. The detail isn't particularly crisp, by comparison to modern models, but it isn't bad. The plasti-card belts take a bit of thinking about.
