Graduate student Bernard Whajah and Dr. Kerry M Dooley recently developed a method for repurposing plastics into usable hydrocarbons more efficiently. Their research focuses on low temperature plastic depolymerization using an induction heating driven process. #LSUChE #Research

First year grad student, Lina Rojas, presented a poster on the ultrafast electron dynamics of noble-transition metal alloy films at this year’s Gordon Research Conference. Lina is working on #NSFfunded research to understand the photo physics of these complex alloy materials.
