Lowther Castle & Gardens Since their arrival at Lowther in 2020 (in a licensed, enclosed scientific release), the adult Eurasian beavers have done what beavers do best – incredible ecosystem engineering that reduces risk of flooding downstream & brings more biodiversity to the wetland landscape.
