Just reread my Crispin Glover: Demon Hunter pilot from 2019 and I had a character called 2020 (Crispin from the future) who travels to the 1980s to team up with his younger self to prevent the world from shitting itself & falling into pandemic chaos in the year 2020.  Fun times.
