The “90,000 square feet” HAS to be a stupid error, right? As noted, the East Room seats 200 people. It has ~3,000 square feet. This “State Ballroom” would seat 3.25x as many people, but be THIRTY TIMES as large. 90,000 sq ft is over half the size of the entire Biltmore House.

Trump’s “90,000 square foot” ballroom is baffling. Each table seats 10, so 650 seats is 65 tables. If we generously assume 100 sq ft/table, that’s 6,500 sq ft. There appears to be a lower level, so double that to 13,000 sq ft. So where’s the other 70,000+ square feet?
