Get the popcorn, more from my battle with HSBC UK to get access to money I earnt. First there was the failure of their app, which thy didn't tell me about, now, when I manage to pay my cheque in, they decide, with no evidence, that it is a duplicate and 'reverse' it. Bandits!

I would like, tentatively, to propose a new word for the English language 'gassle' which is when a person is both deceived and annoyed at the same time. Some companies are good at this. HSBC UK do you want to be in the category of companies who gassle their customers?

The vote in the House of Commons in favour of the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill is a watershed moment in the history of our country. It fundamentally changes society’s long held values and relationships on matters of life and death.

Anyone who did not have a heart of stone would be moved by all the personal testimony re Assisted Dying. However, in response to the 'my dad died in agony' testimony, I think no-one can judge this unless they have seen a family member flee in terror from a euthenasing state

Remember when making an Austin Allegro twenty times larger ensured that it could win F1? Me neither. Yet wind speculators think that rubbish technology time 4 = success. Bute Energy want to build these monsters over my childhood home, to power distant cities. No bloody way.

Honestly, whose husband is called Moth? Buy a Welsh farmhouse, husband called Moth, we can't be far away from leather hat ownership here!

Very excited about the Bayeux Tapestry coming to London. Perhaps this time I won't be given the audio guide in Flemish. This has happened twice in Normandy. I'm not Belgian. Not a bit. And yet, I am repeatedly mistaken for one. Get asked for directions repeatedly in Belgium.

Having run out of bread and being of the opinion that lunch cannot be scrambled eggs on a slice of date and walnut cake, I added a few peanuts to said eggs and it was delicious. You may all thank me at your leisure

I like church music traditional, Victorian at the latest but I've had to revise my opinion as my children, now adults, like some recent hymns. So I need a way to describe the best of the sub-folk post Vat II mush. Felt Banner Bangers, perhaps? Things like 'Go the Mass is Ended.'

Just watched 'The Children Act.' An interesting film which I find myself disliking. Actually, clever middle class people replacing faith with culture may not work out for the best all round, at least the stats don't look that way. Felt very bleak to me.

'Unforgivable' is a far better drama than 'Adolescence' because it is deeper, asks more subtle questions and cannot be mistaken for a documentary.

Wildly excited by the news about Newman, as, no doubt, are all the other mothers who made sure their children had 'Cor ad Cor Loquitur' T shirts. We went down to London to catch a glimpse of Pope Benedict and there were lots of Newman themed garments visible on the Tube that day.

Everything picked, except noses of course. Do tune in at 6.15 this evening for a programme of variety, from Korea to Radnorshire and all places in between. Well, some, anyway. BBC Radio 4 bbc.co.uk/programmes/m00…

In an era in which there is so much admiration, open and veiled, for violent solutions to political problems, let us remember this tireless hero whose passion for justice never led him towards the siren voices of the bloodthirsty.
