Lochaber councillor Andrew Baxter raises concern that temporary appointments can end being permanent, ultimately ending up being the opposite of what the end point was.

Inverness councillor Richard Laird is poking holes in some of the spending proposals. "Why are we spending £23,000 on asking tourists about a proposed tax levy? I'll tell you what they'll say right now. 'If I came back it might be a problem but otherwise I'm not bothered'."

£185,000 road improvements on the #A830 near Loch Eil Station are set to start tomorrow for 2 weeks. The project will take place between 7am & 7pm, a 10mph convoy system will be in place during the works. No works are programmed for Sat or Sun. More here: buff.ly/30n7cup
