To practice flexible thinking on this Wellness Wednesday, we created a new use for an item. Introducing: a triangle maker (from toilet paper roll & puffballs) & a marker bracelet (from handle of paper bag.) I will never need to search for a marker again! #IHPromise IHElementary

Today's read aloud was eagerly read by a classmate, who shared a book that is important to her & her family at this time of year. My favorite part was a tie between her inflection/ emotion while reading & the Q&A afterwards by her peers. She was a star. #IHPromise IHElementary

What a great day listening to @TamaraBundy tell us about her journey as a writer & inside details of her novel that we are reading! Her statement of "Our words matter. They can hurt. Use them to lift up others" matched perfectly with our discussions too! IHElementary #IHpromise

I love the sincere, caring hearts of these awesome kiddos. When they found out the seniors would be walking through our halls today, they immediately started making signs for them. So much joy and excitement! #IHPromise IHElementary
