HUGE. Finally Tesla's "SMAM" being called out for what it is. Turns out, you can not sell a car as "Full Self Driving" and then hold drivers accountable for "misusing" it as self driving car. What a surprise, hu? It's relieving finally seing rulings that hold Tesla accountable

A simple code glitch can kill your drive. Stellantis recalled about 91,787 plug‑in hybrid Jeep Grand Cherokees because a software error in the hybrid control processor could cause a loss of drive power. The bug can suddenly cut propulsion, though steering and brakes still work.

Dear German Premium OEMs. 2000s called, they want their UI design back. 🤷🏽 I’ve been really looking forward to exploring the new releases from the likes of Audi, Merceedes etc but also Chinese challengers. What surprised me most was this: To me, the German cockpits look dated

One major OEM just hit pause on Level‑3 autonomy. Stellantis has shelved its AutoDrive Level‑3 system, citing high costs and limited market demand. A spokesperson says the tech is ready but not launched because of weak consumer interest and uncertain ROI.

Even sports cars aren’t immune to recalls. General Motors is recalling more than 23,500 Chevrolet Corvette vehicles from model years 2023–2026 because spilled fuel could contact hot engine parts and cause a fire.

A robotaxi comeback story: regulators just gave Zoox a green light. Amazon‑owned Zoox sought an exemption after recalling its vehicles earlier this year due to a crash. On Aug 6 the U.S. NHTSA granted that exemption and closed its probe, letting the vehicles operate finally.

German automotive is killing itself with PowerPoint politics. 😳 The hard truth from my decade in the trenches: → German OEMs spend 80% of development time in alignment meetings → Engineers waste months getting sign-offs from 12+ departments → Most "quality processes" exist

I always wanted an Audi. But now, my first brand-new car will be Chinese. Why? Because Chinese OEMs just build better cars now. 🤯 Hear me out: German premium cars? They feel…boring. Their infotainment systems already feel outdated when they hit the market: no wonder,
