In this project, neurodiversity screening was offered to all trainees early in training in order to progress with assessment, support & adjustments before people who need them are set up to fail. #WoundedHealer24 Continued...

With support, 70% of neurodivergent drs passed the exam vs 60% overall pass rate. Support & adjustments then put in place beyond just exams. Much better wellbeing scores. Modelling of neuroaffirmative language and behaviours helps people feel seen & included. #WoundedHealer24

Great session #WoundedHealer24 #Neurodiversity in doctors is high. They struggle at work and repeatedly present to NHS Practitioner Health. A ‘superpower’ is high empathy, but can struggle with training & exams. Diagnosis means support, and reasonable adjustments for exams/work.

Wow! #WoundedHealer24 What an incredible two days. It is going to take me some time to process all of the learning. Was an absolute privilege to have been there.
