Art take: yes it does matter what digital brush you use, it doesn't affect the skill level but it affects the texture and the "look" of the artwork, the reason why people ask you the brushes is NOT cause they wanna "copy your style" but they might just be trying to look - (1/2)

for a brush that will suit that specific artwork , or experimenting to see what brush they are comfortable with. if it worked for you it might for them . idk just don't be rude when telling someone you don't wanna share your brush or JUST share it if you can .(2/2)

You know what has actually disappeared? The support structure to train someone to master the craft. This goes for almost all things. Yes, including engineering and design jobs. Everyone wants masters but no one wants to train apprentices.
