Lots of people out their posting about teacher shortages & how we need more teachers etc. Let me keep it real - RENT IS PAST DUE - this conversation has been years in the making & it’s time to pay them, protect them, stand up for them, value them & take care of them! Let’s go!!!

Imagine believing that books pose a greater threat to children than poorly regulated access to guns. We are lost.

In 2022, more children have been killed in school shootings than police officers have been shot in the line of duty.

I remember holding my newborn baby when news of Columbine broke. 23 years later, kids are still being murdered at school. Our children deserve safe spaces to learn. Our school staff deserve a safe space to facilitate that learning. When will we give that to them? #stopgunviolence

The real learning loss from the pandemic has been social and emotional skills. Such as making and maintaining friendships, participating in group projects, and regulation of emotions. Students need unstructured play, recess, and group interaction more than ever.
