I am so happy to see this coming to life. The XRB-2E6 engine is a bit of a crazy moonshot project for us at LEAP 71 - a full-flow staged-combustion MethaLOX engine with 2 Meganewton. Noyron can design it, but can we build it. Turns out, yes, we can.

We validated the manufacturing of the injector head of our massive XRB-2E6 reference engine with Nikon SLM Solutions - see previous post for pictures and our website for the press release. Generated by the #Noyron Large Computational Engineering Model without human intervention.

Big thank you to Nikon SLM Solutions for the fantastic collaboration, bringing this 2000 kN MethaLOX FFSC injector head to life. It’s an important validation step for our largest reference engine, the XRB-2E6.
