And once again a major news outlet relies on a heavily sci-fi picture of AI when writing about chatbots. These pictures shape a completely unrealistic narrative about AI and divert from the actual problems they pose. Thankfully there is this useful guideline by Better Images of AI

It was fun taking part in a panel on 'Governance of LLMs' at the @iiccsss2023 summer school yesterday. We certainly had different perspectives on whether and how LLMs should be regulated - which made the debate all the more interesting.
