In December 2010, eighteen year old Ben Cowburn took his life in the psychiatric unit of a hospital where he was admitted after alleging a male comedian in his forties had groomed and pressured him into performing sexual acts. As of 2014 police had yet to interview the comedian.

Today is #StomaAware Day. Ignorance & a lack of suitable facilities create barriers that leave many of the over 200,000 people in the UK living with stomas feeling socially excluded. Get involved today, and together, we'll Smash Social Exclusion for those living with stomas.
