Liberal Reform are delighted to announce we have a discussion panel with Cllr Cheney Payne 🔶 and Peter Taylor on the subject of “how do we hold Labour to account locally and provide a positive alternative vision” This will be at the East of England Lib Dem regional conference.

I don’t think pensioners who own houses worth more than a million pounds and who are fairly wealthy beyond that should have their heating subsidised by the state.

Our mission should be to show that we are a viable government in waiting that can win the trust of the British people to make their lives and the lives of people they care about, better. At the moment people sadly see us as a party of protest.

For any remaining liberals or moderates left in Conservatives, now is the time to join the Liberal Democrats.

In choosing two culture war caricatures, the Conservatives are sending the message that they are not serious about forming a government. Time for the Lib Dems to start acting like the official opposition and come up with a serious labour facing message to take to the country.
