Tonight I held a public briefing on Philomena’s Law in Parliament with Irish in Britain It was particularly moving to hear from survivors - a reminder of the need for change. There are 13,000+ living in Britain. Thanks to everyone who came and to Ailbhe Rea for chairing.

It was a pleasure to be there and support all that you're doing on Philomena's law. It's a shocking & cruel injustice.

I’m truly grateful to have been invited to speak on a panel at the House of Commons alongside MP Liam Conlon. He is working to introduce legislation that would ensure redress payments for survivors of Mother and Baby homes in Ireland are ring-fenced for those in the UK.

It was great to meet with Minister Norma Foley T.D today on “Philomena’s Law” to support thousands of survivors of Ireland’s Mother & Baby Homes living in Britain. I’m really grateful for the support I’ve had from her and the Irish Government so far.
