It’s very difficult to do books on TV but Between the Covers got it right. Just the sort of show the BBC should be doing. I know they’re short of funds but this is a real shame.

If the UK economy is continuing to grow then the argument for cutting disability benefits becomes weaker. Why should the poorest and most vulnerable in society lose out in a country that's doing well? That's not the Labour way, surely.

20 years ago, I called ARU during Clearing after getting my results- was nerve wracking to do as noone else in my family had gone to University. Best decision I made- academically and as a life experience- and it's helped me get to where I am.. which is back at ARU!
