Families affected by the ongoing floods redeem their e-vouchers.   Thanks to support from Norad, UNICEF Kenya working with World Vision Kenya NDMA Kenya Garissa County Gvt. has provided cash transfers to over 600 households. Families displaced by the floods are being hosted in IDP camps.

Busia County & @DCS_Kenya are hosting a team from UK in Kenya 🇬🇧🇰🇪 & UNICEF Kenya for a two day visit to monitor support for communities affected by Elnino & MAM floods. At the start of the visit, the team met Deputy Governor H.E Arthur Odera to discuss the ongoing response efforts.

They met H.E Dr. Gregory Ganda, CEC Health, to discuss areas of collaboration and disability inclusion.

The delegation later visited Rukala Internally Displaced Persons camp in Bunyala sub-county. Through the joint response, families and children affected by floods are receiving integrated basic #nutrition, #health, and #WASH services in addition to #cashtransfers in the camp.
