As you enjoy the Bank Holiday today, take a moment to think of all the unpaid carers who care for others every day, with little chance for a break or time off to do things for themselves.

Young carers can pop into the Bank of Good Things in Lewisham shopping centre today, up to 8pm to get free items needed for school and toiletries.

As schools return a request for school staff to look out for signs that a student is a young carer. They will be anxious about returning and leaving loved ones to cope without them. A few simple measures will help them stay in school and thrive.

Unpaid carers have priority access to Flu and Covid vaccinations. Check you on the Carers Register at your GP surgery or see your Pharmacy.
