I do feel bad for Tom Thibodeau a little bit (although he ultimately did this to himself). I’m sure he is both heartbroken and irate. Never questioned his passion for his job, was probably his best quality.

My personal top candidates for the next HC I need established, experienced, with deep player development. Michael Malone is baby Thibs & shouldn’t be considered, Jay Wright is too much of a risk.

That being said I wouldn’t have been surprised if he joined the front office, but in reality he probably is pissed and declined such a role if he was offered it… Which would not surprise me and I wouldn’t blame him for that lol
