Our volunteers and our colleagues from Leeds Wilderness Med have been extremely lucky to have been in the expert hands of Bowland Pennine MRT this weekend. Lessons and understanding to be taken back to the patients we see and treat in our local community, and hopefully well into the future.

🚨🚨🚨 🚘 It is with great excitement that we introduce you to the newest member of our team. PCR07 is joining our scheme on a trial basis to help us expand Yorkshire Ambulance YAS CFRs falls coverage across Leeds.

Steady night for Oli, Lucy and Sophia triple-crewed on our new falls car PCR07. One alternative response provided saving one patient a long-lie and leaving one more ambulance free to respond to higher priority jobs in Leeds.

Tonight, after over 5 years involved with Leeds Student Community First Responders and as part of the Yorkshire Ambulance family, I finished my final shift, partnered up with Lucy Pangbourne. 774 hours down the line, a short 🧵 about what volunteering as a CFR has meant to me as I hang up my T-Shirt. 1/10
