Very important article in the wake of behaviour in schools becoming the latest political football - all students benefit from classrooms with clear expectations and boundaries which are consistently enforced, *especially* those who don’t have these things elsewhere in their lives

Exactly this. We now have so many great examples of schools that provide cultures that are safe, calm, dignified, and where children (esp disadvantaged children) do fantastically. By now it’s largely only ideological biases that keep the carpers carping
