Today we had our PJ day party! Students worked as a team to fill up our Star Jar, by showing great focus, teamwork, co-operation, listening, participation etc. They worked as a group towards this reward for a few months! The jar is now empty and ready for more stars!

In Math today, our grade 3s were each sharing the properties of 3D shapes, while the grade 2s explored 2-d shapes, building virtual and pattern block play structures and then discussing the shapes they used!

For Kindness month, our students made heart art and decorative bags. We have also written secret messages of appreciation to each other for the past two weeks! All around the school, kids are getting tickets when they are “caught being kind!” Our mission = spreading kindness!

Today’s math centres were game-based, to reinforce the students’ understanding of multiplication and division concepts and get them talking through different strategies they have for solving. Practise can be fun! (There are activities and games posted on the Google classroom).
