Today we had a great first session with @ChesterZoo Chester Zoo Learning where we were introduced to artefacts from the islands of Borneo and Sumatra. We loved exploring the skins, smells and skulls! ๐๐๐๐
Year 2 enjoyed their first workshop with Leon from Chester Zoo Chester Zoo Learning The children loved studying the artefacts from the islands of Borneo and Sumatra even the smell from the vomit fruit put a smile on their faces! ๐๐๐๐

Our Year 9 students have visited Chester zoo for climate & sustainability workshops. The workshops included learning about various species and and ways they can live more sustainably, to reduce the impacts of climate change. #HFCHSGeography Chester Zoo Learning

We had a fantastic time taking part in the Palm Oil Workshop with Chester Zoo Learning! We explored the impact of unsustainable palm oil on orangutan habitats in South East Asia and learned how important sustainable choices are. #RPEnrichment
We really enjoyed our workshops with Jenny and Chester Zoo Learning ๐ฆWe learnt a lot about palm oil and the problems that are caused for our rainforests and animal populations when it is not grown sustainably. We know now what we need to look out for when we go shopping! #RPEnrichment
