The narrative around Man United at the moment is quite disturbing, almost that it's OK to lose in the PL because the Europa League is more important. And I know this season has been awful, but when was that ever the United way??

This romanticism of present day footballers, like they're the greatest ever, is nonsense. If we're just considering the Premier League, then there's 33 years of players to choose from. And it's certainly not Alexander-Arnold. Anyone with eyes can see that.
