This morning, Rebecca and I spoke with service members serving at MCB Camp Pendleton and MCAS Futenma, to share just how grateful we are for their courage and sacrifice. To each and every service member currently serving, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

This evening, Rebecca and I were briefed on the passing of President Jimmy Carter. Carter taught us what it meant to live a life of dignity, justice, and service. Rebecca and I send our thoughts and prayers to the Carter family, and everyone who loved this remarkable man.
