Rain will taper to showers in the lowlands later this morning. However, those with travel plans across the mountain passes should prepare for winter travel conditions, as the convergence zone will bring accumulating snow thru the day! #wawx

All the heavy rain this weekend will also put extra pressure on soil instability, which leads to an increased threat of #landslides. For more information on Landsides, go to bit.ly/2mtA3wn. #wawx

A front is spreading some light rain into the metro area this morning. There will be a rain/snow mix in some locations this morning but accumulations are unlikely, especially on roads. A dusting is possible over the higher hills and away from the water. #wawx

We continue to get questions about I-5 closing between Longview & Centralia/Chehalis, due to flooding. We're keeping an eye on water levels but have no plans to close freeway. If this changes, we'll be pushing messaging out through every platform we have. Follow us for updates.👍
