The staff members were oriented on best practices of energy use and efficiency, and the implementation of Municipal Energy Management System. The participants shared policy level issues hindering Energy Efficiency and Sustainability.

🆕July 8, 2023: A one-day Awareness Raising Workshop was organized for the officials of District Sahiwal, Okara, & adjoining 8️⃣ Municipal Committees on Energy Management System and Energy Saving and Efficiency at MC level. Partnership: NEECA Fin. Support: @GIZPakistan

🏆 certificates distribution among participants 🎉 and it was suggested that new laws should be introduced so that the energy infrastructure at the municipal level can be better utilized and moved towards renewable energy.
