Today we honor the memory of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. An inspirational figure who fought for social justice. May we continue his mission to pursue the world he envisioned a world without racism, prejudice, poverty, and inequality.

50 years ago we lost one of the greatest President in US history. Today is the anniversary of the death of Lyndon B. Johnson. The man who healed the nation after the tragic death of JFK and brought us Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps, Civil Rights, and Voting Rights.

Today is a day when we remember the tragedy of the Holocaust. We remember the 6 million Jews and others whose lives were taken by the evils of man. This day resonates with me more as I myself have descended from Jews who were survivors of the event. May they rest in peace.
