I just unfollowed about a hundred people (a lot of them inactive accounts) and am a little dizzy from the terrible interface for that so… if I unfollowed you please assume I did it by mistake and did not intend to hurt your feelings.

mwi.westpoint.edu/dod-3-0-reboot… Another Army-centric DoD solution masquerading as a successor to the current joint force. Goldwater Nichols was implemented as Army-centric. The next version of DoD needs and air/sea/space battle focus.

There now seem reasons why the initial price tag for these ships was so low; being built largely outside Denmark, in a yard about to close, and with recycled weapons and sensors. It looks like this class never completed a combat systems integration?

gov.uk/government/pub… I wonder why Sir Humphrey Appleby was not properly credited as one of this document's authors. It certainly has his "administrative" style about it. Once upon a time UK Defence Reviews were short and too the point: margaretthatcher.org/document/121307

These PLAN carriers are not really "deployed," in the way that the USN deploys its carriers. Its more like US carriers operating in the Caribbean.

The "overweight" point is questionable. The US version of FREMM is longer and wider than the original, and as such would imply a larger displacement from the start. Too many changes from the basic design, and the delay and costs caused by those are the chief problems.
