Q4: This is close to my heart! Digital learning doesn’t mean mindless computer work. Engaging them through many different platforms and media. Projects that require collaboration and presentation to peers. PLANNING is always important but even more digitally! #proudtobePCSD

A5: I’m still learning about rewards in the digital world. One thing I have enjoyed doing for digital is adding memes and gifs to the announcements. I also play a fun song as they enter the classroom! They at least acted like they liked it🤣❤️❤️ #proudtobepcsd

A2:I think it’s really important in planning to remember that engagement doesn’t just mean “paying attention.” Now more than ever we must find ways to get them excited and help foster the DESIRE to learn more! Technology can be the best or the worst for engagement! #ProudtobePCSD

A3:Student voice can be mistaken as “noise”. True student voice is about choice and about “hearing”them. Planning out tasks that are rigorous but also require their thoughts/solutions/opinions is a great way to give them a voice and get to know them better! #proudtobePCSD

A4:Every lesson should have students collaborating in some way! Digital tools can be used in brick and mortar too! My favorite collaboration so far this year are digital gallery walks for feedback to peers! Such great information and conversation! #proudtobePCSD

A5: I think digital tools make it so much easier to proved actionable feedback. On a google doc, the teacher can give feedback live or for review! Students can edit this and be seen the changes that were made. Much more accessible than on paper! #proudtobePCSD

A6: Digital grading can get very overwhelming & tedious. When students are not turning things in at the end of class as they would if they were walking out the door-it can be difficult to keep up with grading those later assignments! #proudtobePCSD

A8:This has been a great learning opportunity. Teachers have been able to own so many different technological pieces that they didn’t feel the urgency for in the past! We have all learned so much about accountability, teaming, and that TEACHERS ARE THE BEST! #proudtobePCSD
