Congrats to Johns Hopkins Epidemiology students on a great first week! My favorite #Epi751 moment? When asking for an example of a closed study population, the answer “Hotel California”😂 In 6 years that has to be my favorite response! @noeltmueller Aisha S. Dickerson, PhD

A treat to be able to host Johns Hopkins Epidemiology Welcome Event! Feeling excited this year; recapturing the energy of in-person connection, but also continuing with many new tools that have greatly widened access. A great time to work in grad ed. Before and After photo of the patio.

Today, Johns Hopkins Epidemiology had Open House for prospective students ON CAMPUS; energy was great. AND I got to meet one of our wonderful continuing doctoral students in person for 1ST TIME. She brought me a delightful gift—a princess figurine eating from a bowl. Adorable!

It is a great colleague that asks you to a meeting and then surprises you with a birthday sparkly cat card and sprinkle cake when you arrive 🎂😄. Thanks @BurmanFrances ! #MoreTreatsOnsite #Cake

Chuckle of the day, receiving a professional e-mail signed “hopelessly yours”. The intent was clearly helplessness in resolving a scheduling issue, but I am over here imagining them waiting for my return e-mail like this:
