It drives me nuts that most teams split their power play time evenly between two units. Just play your top unit until they can’t go anymore. It’s a crazy idea but maybe you should use your best offensive players in the highest leverage offensive minutes as much as possible.

There is no sport that's hardest for a team to win the championship. It's either harder for the best team to win, or harder for the underdog to win. Hockey, for example, is a relatively harder sport for the best team to win, which means it is relatively *easier* for underdogs.
