On 8/18/2025 at 11:20 am a radio call was generated of a sexual battery suspect there now in the area of Pacific and 6th St area. Officers respond and established a perimeter. The suspect was successfully taken into custody.

GED Officers were conducting extra patrol in the San Pedro area when they observed a known gang member who had a warrant. Immediately, the suspect fled from officers. A perimeter was set up. The suspect was taken into custody. Officers recovered a firearm from the suspects home.

Officer Brannon and Officer Gonzalez were patrolling when they observed a reckless driver. They attempted to stop the vehicle, but the suspect had no intentions of stopping. With authorization officers conducted a PIT bring the suspect’s reckless driving to an end.

This morning LAPD in conjunction with the FBI conducted multiple search warrants throughout the city of San Pedro. Multiple suspects were taken into custody in our effort to protect and serve the community. We wanted to advise the community this was in no way related to ICE.

Multiple members and associates of the violent Rancho San Pedro street gang are facing federal and state charges after being arrested for RICO and other violations.

LAPD Harbor Division hosted the first Trunk or Treat at our police station. The part that warmed all of our hearts is us expecting approximately 200 kids and almost 1000 kids coming to our event. Thank you to all the supports and sponsors who made this event as scary as it was.
