These law enforcement leaders are part of the current UChicago PLA cohort. Some have had officers in their Department’s shot and killed or seriously injured this past week. I pray to find them in good spirits during our next session. Blessed Are The Peacemakers 💙

After weeks of deploying to assist those recovering from the Palisades Fire LAPD Southwest officers continue to target violent street gang members. While monitoring a “hood day” officers safely detained several and removed these guns from the street. #copsmatter Los Angeles Police Protective League

Yesterday was a wonderful MLK Parade event. LAPD Southwest worked with other LAPD HQ partners to provide a safe environment. Southwest GED disrupted possible violence and sales of illegal drugs. Professionalism by all Los Angeles Police Protective League members. Community engagement and arresting criminals.

Congrats to Officer A. Mendoza on his graduation from OC Sheriff Academy and his formal swearing in at Santa Ana PD. Officer Mendoza continues his life of service after four years in the US Army, RLTW.
